LEFKADA ISLAND WALKING

We are Grant and Dionne and founders of Lefkada Island Walking

With over the 8 years of walking within Lefkada’s mountainous interior we have grown to love the island as if we were native born and can’t wait to share this stunning Greek Ionian island and all it has to offer with you.

We offer two types of walking adventure guided circular walks and the Lefkada Trail.

CIRCULAR 4 - 6 HOUR WALKS

Combine your love of Greek Island living with your love of walking.

To keep things relaxed and personal we are limiting the group size to a maximum of 8 people.

Throughout spring and autumn we invite you to join us for a week of spectacular circular walks. Your accommodation is split between the capital town of Lefkas in the north of the island and Vasiliki a beautiful harbour town in the south of the isalnd.

We guide you on 5 walks within the mountainous and breathtaking island interior, through small picturesque villages, gorges, lush valleys, pine woodland, olive groves and past centuries old monasteries and churches.

You have one rest day, which can be spent relaxing, sightseeing, shopping or simply chilling out at the beach.

LEFKADA TRAIL - 80KM

* The Lefkada Trail is now open *

We are currently the only people to guide, arrange accommodation and transport between the start and end point of each days walking on the Lefkada Trail.

To keep things relaxed and personal we are limiting the group size to a maximum of 10 people.

Your stay is split between Lefkada town in the north and the beautiful harbour town of Vasiliki in the south. The accommodation is in self-catered apartments. We can cater for individuals as well as groups.  In both Lefkada town and Vasiliki there are so many taverna’s, coffee houses, pastry shops and mini markets which can adequately provide for all of your dietary needs.

We must give a big shout out to Colin & Trish Cooper a British couple living in Lefkada. Without their passion and meticulous planning and mapping of monopáti (Greek paths) unsurfaced tracks and small roads the Lefkada Trail would not exist in its current guise.
